Over the past two months, Premier League players from around the world have competed for a seat at the cross-region 2013 WCS Season 2 Finals, where a Season 2 champion will be crowned. Today, we’re excited to announce that the Season 2 Finals will be presented live by the Electronic Sports League from August 23 – 25 at gamescom in Cologne, Germany.

As a brief reminder, the Season Finals will feature the top five Premier League players from each region, as well as one additional player from the host region, WCS Europe. You can tune in on the WCS Portal or the official ESL stream to catch every bit of the action as the players compete for WCS Points, a share in the $150,000 prize pool, and the title of WCS Season 2 champion. Those of you who wish to attend in-person will need to purchase a ticket to gamescom 2013, and you can head here to do just that.

WCS America
Round of 16

From Monday, August 5 through Thursday, August 8, the North American Star League will showcase the WCS America round of 16 group stage live from the NASL Studio in Rancho Cucamonga, California beginning at 3:00 p.m. PDT each afternoon. If you’re local to the Southern California area, make sure to stay tuned to NASL on Twitter and Facebook throughout the round of 16 to find out how you can earn an invitation to watch the WCS America League Finals in person.

League Finals

On the weekend following the round of 16 group stage, the NASL will be hosting the WCS America League Finals from August 10 – 11 at the Red Bull Studio in Santa Monica, California. Tune in live to the free 720p broadcast each day on the WCS Portal at 1:00 p.m. PDT as the players battle to determine who will represent WCS America at the Season 2 Finals, starting August 23.

WCS Europe
Round of 16

The Electronic Sports League is once again hosting a live studio audience for the WCS Europe round of 16 group stage at ESL Studio One in Cologne, Germany. The show kicks off at 9:00 a.m. PDT each day from Monday, August 5 through Thursday, August 8, and you can pick up a ticket here.

League Finals

The League Finals for WCS Europe will be held from August 10 – 11 at ESL Studio One in Cologne, Germany. In similar fashion to WCS America, the League Finals for Europe will feature the top eight performing players from Season 2 Premier League competition as they duke it out to earn a seat at the Season 2 Finals. You can find out who will reign supreme in Europe by tuning in to the free 720p broadcast on the WCS Portal at 5:00 a.m. PDT on Saturday, August 10, and 3:00 a.m. PDT on Sunday, August 11.

WCS Korea
League Finals

Unlike WCS America and Europe, the League Finals for WCS Korea began on Tuesday, July 23 and stretch across nearly three weeks of play. The round of eight is already behind us, and matches will continue each Tuesday and Thursday morning at 2:00 a.m. PDT until just two players are left to face off at the finals on Saturday, August 10. OnGameNet will present the best-of-seven finals live from the Gangnam COEX D Hall in Seoul, South Korea at 1:00 a.m. PDT, and you can tune in for free on the WCS Portal.
