Kim ‘herO’ Joon Ho is a Protoss player from South Korea.

In 2014, CJ herO became the first StarCraft II player to ever win two Intel Extreme Masters Championships. Not only that, but the two events that herO won, IEM Singapore and IEM Sao Paulo, were back to back. herO is often brought up in discussions about who the strongest Protoss player was in early 2014.

herO qualified for the 2014 WCS Global Finals as the 12th seed with with 3475 WCS points. His first match was against the the 5th seed, MC, who he defeated 3-2. He then faced Classic, the 13th seed, in the quarterfinals, where he was defeated 3-2, thus ending his tournament run.

In 2015 herO continued to be one of the strongest Protoss players taking 1st in KeSPA Cup Season 1 along with various strong finishes in the 2015 WCS point season being the highest WCS Point earners for the year.
